Real Tennis Fantasy League - Seacourt Silver Racquet recap
The Fantasy League dips its toes into handicap tennis for the first time
Here’s your round-up of the Real Tennis Fantasy League following Round 5 of the 2025/26 season - Seacourt’s Silver Racquet event.
News
The 2026 Seacourt Silver Racquet offered up some incredible handicap tennis. It was amazing to see so many matches go into a third set, with several matches needing a deciding 11th game in the 3rd set to find a winner. The latter stages of the tournament saw more young talent shine through, laying down a marker for a strong second half of the season. And congratulations must go of course to Will Flynn for securing his third consecutive Seacourt Silver Racquet title!
Points awarded
With no doubles draw and no big win bonuses available for this handicap event, the only way to secure big points was using your tournament boost or going with the 2% pick bonus players. 16 players received the 2% pick bonus (awarded where fewer than 2% of all picks went to that player.)

There’s relatively little change at the top of the Leaderboard, with only a few places moving around. Cone keeps the top spot, holding a 38 point lead to Hobart’s Men Taylor-Batthews in second place. Last year’s League winner TopDoy claims the MVP for Round 5 with a perfect team selection (Flynn, Flynn, Henman).
Tournament Boosts
AK47 was the only player to use their Tournament Boost in this Round, using it to secure nearly 100 points. Leamington’s CryMeARiviere in 5th place is the best player yet to use their Tournament Boost (462 points).
Budgets
As we reach the halfway stage of the season, it’s encouraging to see most people have spent roughly half their budget. But watch out for those with cash to spend, some players still have over £600m in the bank to play with!
Looking ahead
Round 6 takes us stateside for the US Open, with Chicago taking on hosting duties this year. Expect a big prize pot and a very strong draw in both the singles and doubles competitions. For some it’ll be the last competitive doubles before the World Doubles Championships in April. The window for squad selections will open around the end of February and closes on 18th March, time TBC.
A heads-up for later in March! Round 7 of the Fantasy League is the US National League Super Event, starting around 4-5 days after the conclusion of the US Open. It’s also the League’s first Team Event - where you’ll be picking only one squad of players.
Select your squad through rtfantasyleague.com
Some rules to remember:
You do not have to fill your squad of three players if you don’t want to.
You can choose the same player twice (but not all three times).
Leaving all your squad selections blank will mean the auto-pick algorithms will come after you!
If you don’t want the auto-picks to choose a squad for you, be sure to “Skip Round”.
