Real Tennis Fantasy League Round 2 recap
Rob Fahey, Pete Dickinson and Max Trueman deliver big value points for Fantasy League players from Aiken
Round 2 of the Real Tennis Fantasy League 2025/26 season took us to Aiken for the IRTPA Players’ Championships. Here’s a roundup of the main talking points from Round 2.
News
We saw a very strong field take to the court in Aiken for the IRTPA Players’ Championships, alongside some real strength in depth from the Satellite event that ran just before the Main Draw. Rob Fahey rolled back the years with his charge through to the Final; but it was Camden Riviere who took the title with a commanding display in three sets. In the Satellite, Max Trueman turned heads with his shot-playing; however it was the experience of Bryn Sayers who took the title.
Points awarded
The IRTPA Players Championship didn’t have a doubles draw, but it did have a full Satellite event. The latter offering players the potential to pick up big win bonuses from arguably lower-priced players in the draw. Ten squad players received double points under the “2% pick” bonus (awarded where fewer than 2% of all picks went to that player.) A few players achieved big wins in Aiken: Rob Fahey’s semi final win against John Lumley; Max Trueman picked up two big wins in the Satellite, and Pete Dickinson’s match against Adam Player earned a big win too.

Looking ahead
Round 3 is the biggie: the British Open. Singles, doubles, qualifying, and a 24 person Main Draw. It all takes place at Queen’s Club from 16th-25th November. The draw came out last week (check the T&RA website, IRTPA website and realtennisnews.com for a full write-up). With a whopping 37 players to choose from, and plenty of chances to pick up bonuses, we should expect to see a real mix of squads for this one. The window for squad selections closes on Sunday 16 November at 10:00 GMT.
And remember:
1) The British Open Women’s Draws (singles and doubles) are not part of the Real Tennis Fantasy League this year.
2) You can earn Big Win Bonuses for matches in the Qualifying Draw.
3) You do not have to fill your squad of three players if you don’t want to.
4) You can choose the same player twice (but not all three times).
5) Leaving all your squad selections blank will mean the auto-pick algorithms will come after you!
6) If you don’t want the auto-picks to choose a squad for you, be sure to “Skip Round”.
