The Real Tennis Fantasy League has returned for the upcoming 2026/27 season and real tennis players around the world are encouraged to sign up and join the action for the year ahead.
What’s new for 2026/27
There are a few changes from last season:
More events: The League will contest 13 events this season, as we welcome the three new T&RA Opens (Eastern Open, Wessex Open, Thames Valley Open) plus the Moore Family Office Challenge into the fantasy league fold. The full event list includes:
all 4 international Opens
IRTPA Players Championships
US Professional Singles
Champions Trophy
3 T&RA Opens (Eastern, Wessex, Thames Valley)
Seacourt’s Silver Racquet
Moore Family Office Challenge
US National League Super Event
More money: To handle all these events, this year’s budget is set at £900m (up from £750m.)
More points: a rejigged - and more equitable - points structure for performance in singles events; plus significantly more points from doubles competitions (3 points per set won, compared to 1 point last season)
The end of double-picks: This season your squad of three players needs to contain three different players. No more picking your favourite player twice.
Stability on pricing: players’ prices will be fixed for the whole season on 1st September 2026, so you have more certainty on how much players will cost when it comes round to tournaments.
What’s stayed the same
The general principle remains the same: pick three players, get points based on their performance, most points wins. Bonuses remain the same as last year: for big wins, doubles events and for players with the fewest picks.
It’s still free to play, and there’s no minimum age restriction to take part.
How to sign up
Simply head to rtfantasyleague.com and sign up using the button on the side menu. All player credentials from last season have been wiped so you’ll need to sign up again if you played last year. It only takes two minutes.
Round 1 is the French Open at the end of September and squad selections will open in early September.
